Allow me to re-introduce myself. Exiled from my chosen home, I'm in close proximity to where I was raised. Outside of Houston, strongly tied to New Orleans, still.

In honor of our guv'nor's trip to Disney World...I'm sure he will take the advice of this song next time he puts his foot in it. Sing along, now!
Ain't it ironic that Dick Van Dyke has the name "Dick" and "Dyke" in it one name? I had a friend whose name was Peter Puller. Without any explanation, he went blind at the age of 14.
I look at Mary Poppins now and realize that Dick Van Dyke was kinda the Jim Carrey of his day. I had no clue Dawes, Sr., the old crusty bank partner in the movie, was also played by him until I really read the credits.
And that spoonful of sugar business? Don't get me started.
